FOR LEAGUE PLAY

How long does the league run?

Teams can earn league points at any Jeopardy! Bar League game starting Sunday, March 22, 2026. The league will run for 8 weeks, with the last qualifying games running on Saturday, May 16, 2026.

What are league points?

League points are separate from your game score. Each week, your placement in your local venue’s game determines how many league points your team earns.

After the game ends, league points will be awarded as follows:

1st Place – 5 Points
2nd Place – 4 Points
3rd Place – 3 Points

All other teams receive 1 point for participating.

Your team’s league points accumulate week to week and contribute to your position on the regional and national leaderboards throughout the 8 weeks.

Can I earn league points at more than one venue during the week?

No. For this championship, your team can only earn league points once per week. Points are tied to your Team ID, so whether you play at Venue A or Venue B, your first game of the week (Sunday – Saturday) is what earns you league points. This is to maintain fairness between different metro areas with fewer game nights.

How do I enter the $1,000 random draw?

Entries for the bonus $1,000 random draw are tied to your team’s game attendance during the week. Your team earns an entry for every day you attend and login at a Jeopardy! Bar League game during the week (Sunday – Saturday). The random draw is separate from game points and league points, and will take place at the end of the 8 week competition.

Can I register on more than one team?

Yes! If you play with more than one friend group or at more than one venue, you can register as a player on multiple teams to increase your chances.

Can I register my team online?

No. You can register your team during the login process at your local Jeopardy! Bar League game. Registration will open on Friday, March 13, with the first qualifying games occurring on Sunday, March 22.

Some of our team players didn’t come to today’s game. Does our team still get points?

Your team will earn points as long as you’ve logged in with your registered team—however, it’s equally important to log which of your team members is in attendance each week. This is to determine the individuals eligible for prizes at the end of the competition.

How do I find out which regional league I’m in?
